This is the 2nd episode of Dragnarok.
Summary[]
Somewhere in the north, a young man named Ime lives with his sister Net, and their uncle Joktan. One say, Joktan sits down and reads them a story. Here it is revealed that the first Dragnarok, Prius, created a spell to take human form. The reason he did so was to marry a human woman he had fallen for. The descendants of this union inherited his powers, and a tome called the Book of Prius was created containing many ancient spells to help them master their powers. The book was also enchanted so that it couldnt be destroyed.
Joktan reveals that Ime and Net are Descendents of Prius and the he held is in fact the mentioned Book of Prius. He reveals that the book was given to him by their father, and warns them to keep their lineage a secret. He also warns them about letting the book fall into the wrong hands.
Not a moment after this, a group of bandits come to the house. Joktan gives Ime the book telling the children to hide. The Bandit leader, attacks Joktan while demanding the Book of Prius. A valiant Joktan throws himself on the bandits’s sword rather than surrender.
Realizing that Jokan knew about the book, the bandits enter the house, only to find it empty.
